The end has come...

First Roderigo, then Desdemona, now Emilia AND Othello!!! This is unreal! Here's how it happened... Emilia walked in & discovered Othello had murdered her best friend, Desdemona & screams "murder!!! murder!!" Everyone rushed up to Othello's room and witnessed it with their own eyes. After Othello explained why he did it Emilia called Iago out and he literally stabbed her in the back. She died right next to Desdemona. After that, Cassio secretly slips Othello a knife because he knew it was the right thing to do. Othello explains that he, "loved not wisely, but too well" meaning he couldn't deal with the jealousy although it was just a lie. He committed suicide and also died next to Desdemona.. what a crazy tragedy.. :'(

"Demand me nothing. What you know, you know. From this time forth I never will speak word"

Are the last words Iago spoke to Othello.. now Othello realized everything was a lie. The most baffling part about this situation is, Iago seriously went through all of that trouble just to hurt all of those people physically AND emotionally.. what a sick man.

"Have you prayed tonight, Desdemon?"

Othello forces Des to pray before he kills her because he wants all of her sins to forgiven first. He makes her pray numerous times before he actually follows through with his plan. After praying, she was terrified because she knew what was in store for her. Othello strangled her until she was dead! First domestic abuse, now murder! Jeez....

"Put out the light..."

OMG, has the time really come? Has Othello truly lost his mind? The answer is yes. He feels that the only way to solve this problem is to kill Desdemona. He slowly begins to doubt himself and question whether he should or not, but he decides he HAS to because he needs to make an example out of women who choose to cuckold their husbands.

Ahh! Wild fight!

Iago tricked Roderigo into trying to kill Cassio so he'd be out of the picture so he'd be one step closer to Desdemona. In Roderigo's attempt to murder Cassio, he didn't get the shots he wanted and only ended up wounding him. Iago's plan didn't go as well as he'd thought, he was furious & needed them both out of the way therefore he grabbed Roderigo, pulled him into the corner & stabbed him hoping he'd bleed to death!! Once Roderigo realized what horrible things were happening he continued shouting, "Oh, wretched villain!" because he knew he was wrong. Meanwhile, Cassio was screaming for help because his achilles was sliced! :(

Roderigo returns....

.... with a vengeance. He wants to get rid of Cassio because he, along with Othello, believes that Desdemona is in love with Cassio!! Roderigo's crush on Des just keeps getting stronger & stronger. With the help of Iago feeding lies to Roderigo, it seems as if he'll never give up on trying to get Des! The only way, in Roderigo's mind, to get her is to get rid of Cassio & Othello! Uh oh...

Othello in Hiding.

As Othello hides off to the side Iago begins questioning Cassio about some sexual encounters he may have had. Othello believes Cassio's answers are about Desdemona but in reality devious Iago is questioning him about the prostitute Bianca. Othello over hears things such as "This is the monkey’s own giving out. She is persuaded I will marry her, out of her own love and flattery, not out of my promise." Othello looks at this as enough evidence to know he has been cuckolded.

Has Emilia rubbed off on Des?

No. Emilia is not a faithful wife, she'd cuckold her husband in a heartbeat. On the other hand, Desdemona would never do such a thing. She talks about how great Othello is to her and she would never want to hurt him. She confirms that she had never done anything with Cassio. She has Emilia on her side, but the main person that needs to believe her, her own husband, now wants to kill her!!

Domestic Abuse in Othello's house????

Lodovico, Desdemona's cousin, visited Othello's home a few days ago. He reported that he deliberately slapped Des in the face! This is totally unacceptable and disrespectful. Othello is a "wife beater" & Desdemona's own family just witnessed it. Now Othello really looks bad to Des' father!

Making Des Jealous?

Othello takes Emilia alone to talk to her in private. Is this a stab at making Desdemona jealous? well maybe but it is also a time to find out what she knows. Emilia backs Desdemona's innocence of course.

The WRONG turn...

Othello clearly puts his trust in the wrong man o___0

URGENT: MISSING HANDKERCHIEF!!

Please help! This valuable handkerchief is missing!! $100,000 reward for whoever turns it in!! If found, please call 1-800-OTHELLO, or message back on this blog! Thank you!

Beware of the Green Eyed Monster!!

The green eyed monster, otherwise known as jealousy according to Iago, is quickly approaching Othello! Who would have ever though that Othello would lose his mind over jealousy? Guess that shows how much he loves his wife and can't bare to have her cuckold him! If he was smart he'd actually ask Desdemona rather than just believe Iago..

I Like Not That!!!

As Cassio gets his alone time with Desdemona guess who shows up? Iago and Othello of course! As the two men stroll up and see Cassio and Des Iago says "Ha! I like not that." and "I can not think it that he would steal away so guilty-like seeing you coming" These words ring in Othello's head and begin to stir up thoughts of unfaithfulness.

Wait, wait... Cassio and Des?

Cassio begins feeling horrible for what happened the night before and knows what he must do to regain his title. He must talk to Desdemona alone....actually come to think of it this may not be the best idea. Cassio wants Des on his side so that she can put in a good word with Othello but talking alone with another mans wife isnt the safest thing to do. Emilia explains to Cassio that, "The general and his wife are talking of it, And she speaks of you stoutly." Is Othello suspicious of something?

Honest Iago

Iago always has the best advice....not!  Iago states his entire devious plan to turn everyone against each other

Montano STABBED!!

Oh no!!... Cassio got wasted the other night on the job & stabbed Montano!! Due to his chilidish acts, his position of lieutenant has been stripped from him. Iago has always wanted the position of lieutenant which is a little shady if you ask me. Iago purposely fed alcohol to Cassio knowing Roderigo's presence would stir up a fight. Iago's devious plan of stripping Cassio of his title has worked. Is Iago going to be named the new lieutenant?

PaRtY TiMe!!

The war has ended! The horrible weather has destroyed the Turks fleet, but where is Othello? Has the storm taken him also? Cassio has arrived without Othello and is worried for his safety but knows all he can do is wait for the hero to arrive on shore. As everyone waits for the general to arrive home his wife pulls in on the next ship and he pulls in soon after. Why not have a huge banger after a big defeat against the Turks and to celebrate Othello and Des' love for eachother. Iago sees this as the perfect time to become devious and begins to get Cassio drunk. When Iago sends Roderigo to follow Cassio a fight ensues. What a good party this has become..sounds like highschool drama to me.

"She has deceived her father"

OMG..... Desdemona has left her home to elope and make the beast with two backs with the Moor, Othello!!! Brabantio, father of Desdemona, was woken up in the middle of the night only to hear the bad news by Roderigo & Iago. What a great thing to wake up to.... Let the drama between Brabantio & Othello begin....

Friend or Foe??

Iago is way too devious and shady to be a true friend to anyone. Roderigo trusts Iago with everything he has therefore Iago knows he can do whatever he wants and takes him for grant it. He vents to Roderigo about everything he can't stand in his life and finds ways to keep him on his side til he gets what he wants. Iago has said numerous times how much he hates Michael Cassio and Othello, yet sucks up to them when he's around them. Roderigo tells Iago to quit because he hates how Othello is closer to Cassio and how he's in a higher position than him and Iago replied, "O sir, content you. I follow him to serve my turn upon him" That just goes to show he's using everyone he associates with just to get what he wants.
